Malden was chosen as the Massachusetts 'Best city to raise your kids' in. Business Week decided to look at cities where people could afford to live, and still raise children. It beat out places like Cambridge and Arlington to win. Average income for the city 67,000 a year, average home price, 300,000. Well serviced by MBTA and, steps from the beach.
Close enough to me that I seriously thought about traveling into Malden today and taking the Orange line all the way into the city to attend the Povo meeting. But, walking down the beach to the T was more fun than driving down route 60, even for the time savings.

Went to a blogger meeting sponsored by Povo tonight. Will write about it in the am.
