Sorry I have not posted in a long while

With all the preparation I did for last weeks Arisia Science Fiction Convention.

Spent way to much time at the doctors office on Friday before the convention.

The convention itself, which I did not leave until 4pm on Monday night.

Leaving there with a lovely little upper respiratory infection, only now lessening it's grip on me.

This blog post is a boring one. Just letting every one know that my next hospital stay has already been booked. February 13th through 16th for what I hope is my last surgery to remove this crappy cancer.

One bit of silly, a hello to my peeps at CVS who love reading about themselves in the blog. HI guys.

The ways I is some times

So a very quick note before bed, yes you may laugh. So I am in fog, thinking about the two men who contacted me today, and my attempt to use linked in to find two people who were once important to me. Finished watching the news, came upstairs and in short order did this.

1- Flossed, rinsed and brushed teeth.
2- Semi showered because the shower is still messed up a week later and C has not returned my calls
3- Walk into kitchen to take meds. Got cup out of cabinet (gotta do those dam dishes)
4- Placed cup bottom side up on table and got ice tea out of fridge. (so much for the extra clean teeth.
5- Poured ice tea on over turned cup. Noticed when I got wet.
6- Corrected angle of cup, poured remaining ice tea
7- Took meds and cleaned up table
8- Walked into bedroom to set alarm, noticed dogs already in bed on side nearest door.
9- Moved around bed to far side of be so i would not have to move dogs.

While at CVS, which was very busy, the pharmacist looked up and yelled out - "does anyone have a question for the pharmacist." I figured she had not specified the subject and so I asked a question about my love life. Specifically 'How do I get an x who likes to call me to decide if he wants to do anything more than just call me once a week, and what should I do about another guy, who 'needed time' and just sent me an email saying 'how are you I am ready to talk."

Some one at the end of the line then asked a question about which brand of paper towel was more absorbent. And the desk clerk mentioned she needed some life coaching.

The Pharmacist then clarified she was only available to answer questions about medication and help people with health insurance. A voice from the back of the group, one of the 8 people waiting for medication responded. "Well you should have been more specific when you opened up the floor to questions."

And just like that we were a community.
