What are they thinking

So in order to defuse the rumors that Governor Palin's youngest son, the one she was 'secretly' pregnant with last year is not the secret child of her eldest daughter the Palin camp has released even better news.

Said 17 year old girl was not pregnant at 15. She is pregnant now, at 17, and will be keeping the baby and marrying the 17 year old father.

Not that the entire story about Trig's birth is not questionable to me. And I have to ask if the girls are all named after television witches on purpose? Or was it just an accident? Willow was a witch on Buffy, Piper from Charmed, and Bristol from Dark Shadows? Honestly...

Where is the outrage? Was mom so busy running the state that she had no idea what her kids were doing during the day? I guess since she is a white girl and has no intention of going on welfare or living any where but with her parents, it's ok.

****** From Wikipedia ************

She eloped with her high-school boyfriend, Todd Palin, on August 29, 1988, when she was 24 years old.[6] "It was a shock but she did it because she knew we couldn’t afford a big white wedding", said Sarah Palin's mother.[106] Todd works for the oil company BP as an oil-field production operator,[107] and is a member of District 12, Local 4959 of the United Steelworkers Union (USW).[108] He is a Bristol Bay salmon set-netter and owns a commercial fishing business.[109] He is a champion snowmobiler, winning the 2,000-mile (3,200 km) "Iron Dog" race four times.[6] The family lives in Wasilla.

The couple have five children: sons Track (19) and Trig (4 months) and daughters Bristol (17), Willow (14) and Piper (7) [ages as of August 2008].[110] Palin's son Track enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 11, 2007, subsequently joining an infantry brigade, and Palin has said he will be deployed to Iraq on September 11, 2008.[111][112] Palin's youngest child, Trig, has Down syndrome. Palin has said that she feels blessed that God chose them to raise a Down syndrome baby.[113] The pro-life community has applauded her decision to have the baby.[114]

Palin's announcement that she was seven months pregnant generated publicity and surprise, as did the circumstances of Trig's birth:[115] More than a month before the baby was due, she was about to deliver the keynote address at a conference in Texas when she began leaking amniotic fluid. Several hours later, she delivered the speech. She then flew eight hours to Alaska, and drove a further 50 minutes to Mat-Su Valley Regional Medical Center, where she gave birth seven hours later.[116] She returned to work three days later.[31]

On Monday, 1 September 2008, Palin announced that Bristol is five months pregnant and intends to keep the baby and marry the father of her child.[117] The father was referred to only as "Levi" in the release.[118] The McCain-Palin campaign states that John McCain was aware of the situation, but decided that it would not affect his choice of Palin as his vice presidential nominee.[119]

I just love double standards.

  1. So, in 1995 she named her daughter Willow, after a show that first aired in 1997?

    Brilliant.

How can I vote against someone who can SEE THE FUTURE? She's obviously the best choice available.

If you've got two candidates, and one has amazing super-powers; there is no contest.
