It involves books, well when does it not involve books. Open Library is slowly buiding a database of every book ever published. Each book will get a single page with all the information you would find in a library catalog.
Not just the book name, but publisher format and pages. The data base also has a subject search, and this is where the joy and addiction starts. If you plug in a subject like 'dragons' not only will you get a list of every book on the database with the word or subject 'dragon' but you will also get a graph showing how many books have been published by year. You can click on one of the dots and find the names of the books published.
